-Donate my hair to locks of love. [when it’s grown probably six more inches]
I want to get this hair cut after donating it. :)
-Finally, this is my verse I want to try and live out better this year. I want to be intentional about loving others, truly loving them. Welcoming people into my room or house, praying for, remembering, making a meal for them, listening, giving. I want to give genuine affection and take delight in honoring each other. I want to be a trustworthy person who encourages and protects.
Celebrated my sister’s birthday & am getting to see and spend time with my best friend almost everyday.
Spending intentional time getting to know my mom’s heart better over coffee & lunch dates :)
What I’ve been doing with my Christmas break…
Moving into ACU on the 10th, exciting! I love my room…no roommate yet but hopefully tomorrow! I’m loving my school and especially being on the cross country team and getting to run and have Caleb for a coach. It’s so awesome. I can’t wait for this week, full of activities and classes start Thursday. I’m praying I’ll grow a lot this year and I can’t wait to see what God has in store. I’m so thrilled about our cross country season and although extremely nervous for races, it will be challenging yet fun! The trips will be a blast! I feel so blessed to be here and for my family and this community. I feel this is the perfect fit for me.
Such an incredible fun day and way to end summer. I love these girls and this group of people so dearly! I can’t believe I get to do life with them. They make like colorful, fun, adventurous, sweet, safe, and just blessed. We took a day trip to Payson and first got breakfast when we got there, hit up some thift stores and got awesome deals, headed to MMR to say hi to Bill and ended up having a photo shoot in our new clothes while the boys played disc golf. We all ate lunch together and then adventured around Box Canyon, got caught in a thunderstorm and after when to the Pizza Factory and shared a delicious dinner together. The drive home was perfect, surrounded by people I love all snug in Carly’s car singing along to great music. Couldn’t get any better.
A truly blessed & beautiful summer I had!!
